Unlike word processor programs, InCopy is not for printing with office desktop printers, but is "integral" to the Adobe InDesign desktop publishing software application with InDesign, the editor-user designs, lays out, and prints the copy as part of the finished publication. The Layout mode view shows the true page design layout displaying "every" format applied to the text and the attached headlines.
The Galley mode view displays the text in a wide-column, published page view without the page formatting, listing the available style sheets applied to the text but does not display the "true" design layout.
